Bill will be heading to Ethiopia with AEG (American Engineering Group )and Global Cross leadership on August 22 to celebrate and initiate the pilot program of a joint partnership to put into the hands of 70 Ethiopian Doctor of Ministry students the “PARCHMENT” (a digital tablet loaded with biblical resources) and the FIREFLY (portable solar panels equipped with six LED lights that can charge the tablet or cell phone off grid). The students are proven followers of Christ of the indigenous Kale Heywet Church. (SIM related churches with over 8 million congregants) The potential is huge…possibly pastors book-sets in digital format and also for the thousands of Bible School students in Ethiopia, across Africa and the SIM world. Pray that God would bless this joint initiative for the building up of the body of Christ.
